I’m Amanda, Mom of three tiny humans and candle enthusiast. We are based out of Wilmington, NC, so if you’ve seen us out and about at local markets, hi! If you are new to our website, welcome!
My husband Nathan and I took the plunge into candle-making in 2020. What began as a simple ban on Target shopping runs quickly evolved into a full-blown mission to curate clean candles with cleaner ingredients – and while it’s been an eye opening experience, it’s been a ton of fun to learn the process. With 3 little ones and 3 dogs at home, making clean candles was important to us. I believe our candles go beyond the norm; they are crafted with high quality ingredients and exude nothing but positive vibes.
We are originally from Rochester, NY and moved down here in 2019. We are very lucky and proud to call Wilmington our home. Being a part of the vendor community has not only opened up many connections but has really brought us close friendships we were lacking in since moving down. I find community to be so important and supportive, especially when you’re new to the area.
Previously to moving down, I worked at a major casino working in the marketing department. Being able to pour my humor, creativity and experience into a lot of what we make, and put out on our socials has been cathartic. My husband works full time in corporate but is also part of a pop-punk band that he still tours with to this day. We absolutely love music, and introducing our kids to that world has been amazing.
